The Proclamation of the Gospel is the Primary Goal of Our Church Ministry

Jesus Christ instructed His disciples before He ascended to the Father. In Acts 1:7-8, the Bible advises us what he told His disciples, "And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." As a church, we do not know the day or hour that Christ will return. But, we do know what we are supposed to be doing in the mean time. We are commanded to reach our Jerusalem (Hot Springs), our Judea and Samaria (Arkansas and surrounding states), and the uttermost parts of the earth. Though we are a small congregation, we are endeavouring to do our part in this process by partnering with church-planting missionaries. We currently support Ken Pennington, who is a church planter in Clarksville, Arkansas; Marty Arnold, who is currently serving in Hungary; Paul LeClerq, who is serving in Guam, Miss Emily Knight in Mexico, Josh Sullivan, on deputation for the field of South Africa; and Alan Minks, who is currently serving in Japan. Perhaps the Lord will lay it on your heart to join us here at Heritage and help get the Gospel out!
